If you’re reading this weblog without the help of an aggregator (such as pX), you’ll undoubtedly notice that things are looking quite different. There’s a profound lack of personality around here now. But no, it’s not a redesign. I just upgraded to Movable Type 3.2, the latest and greatest version of the blogging software that I use, still hot off the server.
This design is temporary, but you know what I mean by temporary: the main page and a few others will probably be returned to the site’s proper design, the rest will remain with MT’s out-of-the-box design, “Vicksburg,” and various pages will have fallen by the wayside – some already have, undoubtedly, because of MT’s new, built-in support for post slugs – they call them basenames. (Since last year, I’ve given each post a slug using the Keywords field.)
Anyways, before all this techno-jargon makes your eyes glaze over, suffice it to know that the beloved Minh’s Notes design will return. (So will pX, which I broke by trying to create a separate page of alumni blogs.)
