is a network of websites that I have created. You may know similar networks as “webrings.”
- MingerWeb Obsolete
- My personal website, to be superceded by this website, as soon as it and Blusopht are completed.
- Planet Xavier New!
- The voice of the St. Xavier blogging community; a daily look at the St. X blogosphere.
- Blusopht Coming soon!
- A guild of high school software developers.
- Học với Tôi Defunct
- My (very) “Gradual Guide to Vietnamese.” Defunct as of January 2003; see the Vietnamese textbook at Wikibooks (to which I contribute) instead.
- LSP Online Defunct
- My pitifully understaffed attempt at writing a grade school schoolpaper. Defunct as of February 2002.

Family
I’m apparently not the only computer-saavy person in our family.
- Trí’s Page by my cousin Trí Nguyễn
- He’s actually got photos on his site! Impressive.
Friends
Yes, I’ve got friends. And they’ve got websites, too.
- Brandon Dodd Homepage by my best friend Brandon Dodd
- A little graphics intensive. A little reflective, too.
- Brandon’s Journal also by Brandon
- A sparingly updated LiveJournal, with a one-post monthly quota… sometimes…
- DJ Bomber’s Blog by classmate Brad Ruwe Defunct
- Brad finally joined the blogging trend and got a blog. Too bad he forgot it ever existed.
- Home Page of Me by classmate Alex Hunt Defunct
- Alex, a friend since grade school, features (negative) reviews – “scoops” – of all his friends’ sites, including mine, on his website. We’re supposed to think it’s funny.
- peej by former classmate Peter Rother
- Gottta hand it to him for home-brewing his own CMS (blogging software).
Acquaintances
C’mon, do you think that I would list everyone I know who has a website as a friend?
- Cows by classmate Scott Feister
- Strange. Just strange.
- Tech Review(s) by classmate DJ Miller Defunct
- DJ thinks he can start up some technology magazine on the Internet. Yeah, right. Get this: he’s even got Brad along for the ride. Isn’t that supposed to spell disaster? Well, it did: his site has long lain dormant, a victim of constant neglect.
Friends’s Little Siblings
Youngins these days…
- Vortex X Team by Brandon’s brother CJ
- CJ makes computer games. Neat, huh? Well, his development team has a project website — with downloads!
Software & Internet Projects
The stuff I work on instead of playing games:
- Adobe Atmosphere Discontinued
- With Atmosphere, you can build virtual reality environments/chatrooms. Atmosphere allows its users to explore, interact with, and chat in worlds, using the free plugin.
- Jabber
- Jabber aims to replace the mess that the AIM, MSN/Windows/.Net Messenger, ICQ, Yahoo! Messenger/Pager, et al IM networks have created, with a standard, flexible, and really cool (!) set of technologies called XMPP. What sets Jabber apart from programs like Trillian? They’re pushing for these technologies to become an official standard, which would force AOL and the others to support it. A number of programs support Jabber to varying degrees. Try one today!
- Jabberzilla
- Jabberzilla is a recently restarted project to create a full-fledged Jabber-supporting extension for Mozilla. I plan to help out – in fact, anyone can.
- Mozilla Firefox
- A simple, fast, powerful, and reliable Web browser. Surf the Web, don’t suffer it!
- Planet
- The best Web-based site aggregator you can find. Take a look at Planet Xavier or Planet Mozilla for examples.
- Wikipedia
- The largest freely created and accessed encyclopedia in the world. Anyone can view it, and anyone can contribute. You don’t even have to sign in! I am a sysop (aka an administrator) for Wikipedia Tiếng Việt, the Vietnamese Wikipedia.
Web Design Resources
Some reasons my website looks as good as it does. Well, I think it looks good.
- A List Apart
- A List Apart shows you how to use already-popular web technologies in ways almost no one else has even thought of before.
- css Zen Garden
- A beatiful site to inspire the stylesheet designer in all of you, started by Dave Shea (see below). This is serious coding.
- mezooblue by Dave Shea
- This weblog, from Vancouver, Canada, is a must-read for web designers. Dave started CSS Zen Garden, IMO the best web design resource on the web (or otherwise). His blog and Zen Garden have given me great ideas for my websites.
- meyerweb.com by Eric Meyer
- Also a must-read for designers, from a pioneer in CSS-based design.
