Rain!

Today we finally got our first precipitation on campus since the day we moved in: it drizzled. You should have seen the glum faces of all the California natives here. Bay Area weather is so predictably sunny that no one ever pays any attention to the weather forecast, so this one really caught us all by surprise. I was pleasantly surprised, though it would’ve been nice to have a small thunderstorm roll through. (Like I said before, call me weird: I get excited about thunderstorms.)

By the way, did anyone back in Cincinnati just happen to take photos of trees a couple weeks back? The leaves have probably all fallen by now, but I’m kind of missing the fall colors, since you have to go some 30 miles away from here to get any of that. If you can post any photos of colorful leaves, I’d be really grateful.
