Uncertainty

You’d think that at the end of a weeklong New Student Orientation, I’d have some idea how my first day of classes tomorrow will play out. But I don’t, because Stanford likes to procrastinate, as I wrote before. I finally did get to find out which PWR course I’m taking: The Rhetoric of Social Reform Movements.

Unfortunately, my assigned IHUM course conflicted with a Computer Science course I really wanted to take, so I had to submit a grueling course change form on Friday. And since I submitted it relatively early, I get to find out the result of my request “before 8am, Monday, September 26” – in other words, right before classes begin. So much for preparation.

I’m really looking forward to finally attending my first day of classes. I’m also looking forward to finally getting a response from The Powers That Be™.
