The obligatory “I went to see the latest Star Wars installment already and I liked it” blog entry

That title must’ve gotten your attention, for its sheer length. I’m not much of a moviegoer (alright, call me deprived), but I must say, this film was good and worth it.

In fact, it was so good that it got some songs stuck in my head. That’s a distinction reserved for only a few of the many, many movies released in my lifetime, such as Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, Forrest Gump, and El Norte – yes, the one from Morality & Justice class; don’t ask me how.

Well, time to dust off Episode 4, as Peter mentioned.

If anyone has managed to keep their copy of Adobe Atmosphere (I applaud you), now’s the time to revisit Star Wars 3D, the result of months of hard work by the Atmosphere community. It’s a collection of oodles of realistic worlds and avatars themed to Star Wars and set in a movie theater. (You might want to get a high-speed connection first, though, because it’s real graphics-intensive.)

I really enjoyed the movie too. I had a few problems with it though. First of all I thought some of the acting was really bad, especially the love scenes between Anakin and Padame (sp?). I have heard that Natalie Portman is a very good actor though, so it might have just been the script. I also did not like how they put Chewbacca in the movie, or even the Wookies for that matter. From the IV-VI movies it looks as if he never met Yoda. It seems Lucas put them in there just to make fanboys giggle. I have to say though I loved Obi Wan, the actor did a fantastic job, though not as good as Sir Alec Guiness.

Makes me wonder if I should increase the char limit for Ennui's submission system. Right now it's at 50 only because I can't stand long titles.

BTW, I'm up near my 10th time listening to the Star Wars Ep. 3 soundtrack. I haven't been counting, but I've been listening to the LOTR sountracks over and over again from the time they've been out, and it never gets old. I just open up foobar and hit randomize every time.

Heh, I just do that on occasion to be funny. I actually wouldn’t mind any character limit, since I already set a 20-character limit on post slugs (the unique part of each entry’s URL after the date).
