XHTML 2.0
Well, well, well. The W3C XHTML WG has finally released the first (and very incomplete) WD for XHTML 2.0. This version has some new features, such as:
- The new

tag, depreciated in this version of XHTML. - The new

tag, to replace theq
tag. - The new
nl
element, for navigation lists. - The new
name
element, for giving titles to navigation lists. - References to a secret, as-of-yet-unpublished language called XFrames.
- Redefinitions of some older elements, such as
p
.
This version of XHTML is not compatible with previous versions, or with HTML.
