It’s really not fair

First Lady Bush takes on the Kerry campaign’s position on stem cell research:

…the implication that cures for Alzheimer’s are around the corner is just not right and it’s really not fair to people who are watching a loved one suffer with this disease.

And the implication that cures for the economy are around the corner is just not right and it’s really not fair to people who are watching an unemployed family member suffer with the current job situation.

But with regards to Alzheimer’s research, impeding – even blocking – the solution doesn’t help either. It’s just not fair.
