Still delicious

Mike Connor has apparently replaced the famous description of cookies in Mozilla Firefox. Until today, it’s read:

Cookies are delicious delicacies.

Blake Ross added this line in when he redesigned the Options dialog, but according to sivran, it was once in Netscape’s preferences as well. From now on, though, the dialog’ll read:

Cookies are pieces of information stored by web pages on your computer. They are used to remember login information and other data.

At least this won’t confuse users who prefer muffins instead.

Thanks to Jesse Ruderman for the scoop.
