MonoBook
The TestWikipedia now displays a new skin, MonoBook, that (likely) will eventually become the default skin of Wikipedia. True, it may be a bit over the top, and an about-face from the current Wikipedia skin (which is quite barren), but it sure looks purdy. (Can’t believe I said that!)
The upgrade at TestWikipedia also includes some much needed changes, such as links in image thumbnail captions, full support for templates, CVS-style edit conflict merging, automatic article categorization, RSS support for pages in the Special namespace, and Wikihiero (for embedding egyptian hieroglyphics in an article – a must for a contributor like you!).
I’m sure that all went way over the top of most of you, but I’m plain excited right now!
