I told you so

  • Microsoft thinks it can avoid more punitive damages by annoying all its loyal users to kingdom come. See, Microsoft is really abandoning you… one step at a time…

  • DJ finally visited his website for the first time since April.

It was only to record a paper for religion class. If only I had moderator status at that forum…

  • While I wasn’t looking, Andy decided to shut down his band’s website — at least its top-level domain. He says that he couldn’t afford to maintain that domain anymore. We all knew it would happen, especially Alex, a member of a rival band whose web presence still exists.

What’s more, Andy replaced the GeoCities mirror of the website with some kind of online presence for A Bee Limousine. Try hovering your mouse over one of the links on that site. See where the links go? To places like file:///C:%5CWINDOWS%5CProfiles%5CAndy%20Blankemeyer%5CMy%20Documents%5CMy%20Webs%5Cmyweb4%5Cindex.htm, which translates into C:\WINDOWS\Profiles\Andy Blankemeyer\My Documents\My Webs\myweb4\index.htm. You see, he forgot to upload the site correctly.

Andy’s the one who said he knows more about HTML and web design than I do. P’ch.

  • Tomorrow’s Walk for X 2003, a marathon-in-kind to support my school. It’s also an excuse to call off class, but still count this to our quota for school days. If I can, I’ll blog live from school, right after the Walk. That means, of course, that the old design might once again come back up for a day.

And no, I couldn’t collect a dime of sponsorship for the Walk. I live deep in staunch Moeller Country, after all.
