Weekends
It seems to me that weekends for students of St. X have been getting progressively longer. Why? Because of days off, tacked to the end, or beginning, of every single weekend.
It all started on President’s Day holiday, then continued with a snow day last Monday, will then be complemented with a faculty in-service day, and will be capped by what I call an “athletic celebration day”. You see, our swim team, the Aquabombers, won their 25th state title. So we get a day off on St. Patrick’s Day.
Are we getting spoiled, or what?
